Binding Freedom Ski Binding Inserts

Binding Freedom Inserts are Stainless Steel threaded inserts for installation in skis. They are installed permanently in non-system or flat top alpine skis so that bindings can be removed and replaced hundreds of times. The special design allows full threads 6mm deep while sealing the ski from water intrusion and installs in a hole drilled 9.5mm deep.

This enables you to remove, install, swap, and adjust your ski bindings just like snowboarders have been doing for years!

There are other similar products on the market but Binding Freedom inserts are superior for several reasons: They are constructed with rolled threads, for far superior pull-out strength, and longevity of internal threads. These inserts utilize a proprietary design to achieve the deepest internal thread engagement – 6mm deep. The slotted top doesn’t interfere with the threads, but greatly simplifies the installation process.

Before installation – clean the inserts with a de-greaser and wipe clean. Any grease or oil left on the inserts from the machining process could interfere with the epoxy. Never use LOC-TITE with inserts, on use Vibra-Tite offered here.

The inserts are available in singles or sets of 14, 16, 18 or 20 but do not include screws as there is a variety of different screw types and lengths. Therefore when ordering the accompanying screw set please add the binding make and model in the additional notes box in the checkout area.
